Our names are Jay Jay & Luke

What are your gatos names?

Our gatos names are @HoustonAndIsland

What are their personalities?

Island (Black) By day he’s a chilled self server. He finds toys and plays a lot but he’s not huge on being lifted up. He loves a night cuddle though and will come calling as soon as we are in bed to snuggle up with us. A performance repeated in the mornings!

Houston (Manxcat Tabbycat) is definitely a play-fight starter and has more of a hunting mentality. He loves to be held and carried, the complete opposite to his brother. He likes to sleep at the bottom of your feet and will hug them (with his claws!).

We know you wanted 1 kitten? What is your thoughts on this now ?

We have both grown up with cats but have both only ever had one in the house. Financially, we thought it might be a problem, but it was explained by Sarah - the co chair of the organisation – that you won’t really see that big of a difference. Something in me said yes, so I said yes. My thoughts now are that it was the best discussion made. We’ve been able to give two amazing boys a home and couldn’t think of anything better. Not only do they have each other to learn all things cat from, they also entertain each other and have company when we are out. There's also not been much of an extra financial burden and with the adoption cost, it saves so much money compared to buying privately. In addition we have so much support from the amazing people at Gatalunya!!

Were they sponsored? Did you keep the name ?

They were sponsored and we kept the names :) so shout out to the sponsors! From the moment we met them at just a few weeks old, their names seemed a perfect fit. We can’t imagine calling them anything else!
