Nacho

Edad / age : 5 años aprox.

Personality: Nacho is a relaxed and loving boy, a lap cat through and through. He was born in the street and spent his first approximately five years there, but you would never know it. This is a boy who was born to cuddle. He has the tiniest little morning meow for his foster parents, to greet them when they wake and start their day together. He is quick to climb on top of people, offer his belly up for some rubs as soon as you touch him, and will fall asleep purring if you give his chin a nice scratch. 

His main hobby is sunbathing and you won’t find any rays of light crossing your apartment that Nacho didn’t already find first. He is a sun seeker and a dreamer, just a very calm cat. He loves peace and quiet, tranquility, and an easy life. The only time he really displays strong opinions about anything are his meal times. Then our little laidback guy comes alive and lets you know that he has a voice and knows how to use it 🍽️😹 When not eating himself, he enjoys supervising the cooking activities and being a part of the home. 

We think that Nacho would really adapt to any kind of family or life. He would suit something more chill but he has an air about him that he would also be the most amazingly sweet caretaker of babies or small children, gently watching over them 💞 

Nacho asks for very little and offers a lot. All he needs is a warm blanket for comfort, some sunny spots to enjoy a post-dinner snooze, and some love and affection. He is a total homebody. He has been on our waiting list for a long time. Back then, we just knew him as the boy who'd suffered a nasty facial injury a year ago (his scar is the only reminder, there were no long-term impacts, thankfully). We missed our opportunity to trap him then but, finally, the last night of 2024 was his last in the street. He is a gentle boy, who has never known the love of a home until his foster family. He will make someone very, very happy 🧡

If adopting as a pair we recommend: Nacho is the only cat in his foster home.

Can Iive with kids? Yes

Can live with other animals? Yes. Untested with dogs in a home setting but he’s been around them regularly in the street without problem, so we think he'd be fine.

Ideal home: Living in any kind of family, be that with a single person, couple, or family with kids. Nacho would most likely prefer a calmer home, to match his energy.

A balcony or terrace is always a plus!

Personalidad: Nacho es un chico relajado y cariñoso, un gato faldero hasta la médula. Nació en la calle y pasó allí sus primeros cinco años aproximadamente, pero nunca lo dirías. Es un chico que ha nacido para buscar los mimos. Tiene el maullido matutino más diminuto para sus papis de acogida, para saludarles cuando despiertan y luego empezar el día juntos. No tarda en subirse encima de la gente, ofrece su barriga para que se la froten en cuanto le tocas y se queda dormido ronroneando si le rascas la barbilla.

Su principal afición es tomar el sol y no encontrarás ningún rayo de luz que cruce tu piso que Nacho no haya encontrado antes. Es un buscador de sol y un soñador, simplemente un gato muy tranquilo. Le encanta la paz, la tranquilidad y la vida fácil. El único momento en el que muestra opiniones fuertes sobre algo es a la hora de comer. Entonces nuestro pequeño tranquilo cobra vida y te hace saber que tiene voz y sabe usarla 🍽️😹 Cuando no está comiendo él mismo, disfruta supervisando las actividades culinarias y formando una parte integral del hogar. 

Creemos que Nacho se adaptaría realmente a cualquier tipo de familia o vida. Es más que apto para algo más tranquilo, pero tiene un aire que también sería el más increíblemente dulce cuidador de bebés o niños pequeños, cuidando suavemente de ellos 💞

Nacho pide muy poco y ofrece mucho. Lo único que necesita es una manta calentita para estar cómodo, unos rincones soleados para tomar una siesta después de cenar y un poco de cariño y afecto. Es muy hogareño. Ha estado en nuestra lista de espera durante mucho tiempo. Por aquel entonces, sólo le conocíamos como el chico que había sufrido una fea herida en la cara hace un año (su cicatriz es el único recuerdo, no hubo secuelas a largo plazo, por suerte). Entonces perdimos la oportunidad de capturarlo pero, finalmente, la última noche de 2024 fue su última en la calle. Es un chico tierno, que nunca ha conocido el amor de un hogar hasta su familia de acogida. Hará a alguien muy, muy feliz 🧡

Si adoptas en pareja te recomendamos: Nacho es el único gato en su casa de acogida.

¿Puede vivir con niños? Sí

¿Puede vivir con otros animales? Sí. No se ha probado con perros en un entorno doméstico, pero ha estado con ellos regularmente en la calle sin problemas, así que creemos que con la debida presentación no habría ningún problema

Hogar ideal: Vivir en cualquier tipo de familia, ya sea un(a) solter@, una pareja o una familia con niños. Lo más probable es que Nacho prefiera un hogar más tranquilo, a la altura de su energía.

¡Un balcón o terraza es siempre una ventaja!
